Our Services

Hydrographic Surveys

Hydrographic surveys are used to define shoreline and under water features

The Company can perform Current Speed & Direction Monitoring, Tide Measurements & Analysis, and Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) Measurements. The Company is equipped with a Multitude of ADCP’s (Workhorse Sentinel 600 and 1200 kHz) to accommodate water depth up to 100m. CTD’s of type AML to accommodate salinity over 40PPM in the extremely salty waters of the Arabian Gulf as well as a range of Valeport MiDS CTD’s.

Our Tide Gauges include Pressure and Radar Tide Gauges with ability to provide tidal analysis to establish vertical networks and to accommodate tidal predictions requirements

Bathymetric survey

  • Measuring the depth of a water body as well as mapping the underwater features of a water body.
  • Multiple methods can be used for Bathymetric Surveys including Multi-Beam and Single-Beam Surveys.

Oceanographic Monitoring:

  • Monitoring the activities on the seabed.
  • Measuring the conductivity (Determine the Salinity), temperature, and pressure of seawater.
  • Monitor and record Tide Data.

Geophysical Surveys

  • Identifying and Characterizing layers of sediment or rock under the seafloor.
  • Locating hard objects buried beneath the seafloor, such as shipwrecks
  • Mapping cultural heritage sites like shipwrecks, to characterize the makeup of the seafloor, and to help biologists identify habitats of marine animals.

Sub-Bottom Profiling Surveys, Side-Scan Sonars and Vibro-Coring. This is for Dredging requirements as well as Pipeline Route Surveys

Enviromental Surveys

  • Flora & Fauna Observation
  • Collected information provides the ability to assess conservation values of areas, understand the implications of changes in land use, document natural heritage, and assist in natural resource management.
  • Preparing management guidelines for natural resources
  • Seabed Grab Sample
  • Camera Recording

Topographic Survey (Land and Marine)

An accurate depiction of a site (property, area of land, defined boundary) which is scaled and detailed according to the spatial considerations and is the summary of the on-site data capture processes.

  • Determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional positions of points and the distances and angles between them.
  • Prevent disputes about property lines.
  • Professional drawings that outline the exact boundaries of a property
  • Topographic Details.
  • Gather spatial information relating to the site
  • Contours, spot levels and feature lines accurately define the ground and boundaries so that you can design

Commercial Diving

  • Almesbar has its own professional divers who can assist and support in diving services especially in Environmental & Industrial Diving.
  • Environmental Diving : Experienced in cleaning up coastal areas and waterways by collecting debris and rubbish.
  • Industrial Diving :Professionally engages in underwater work for industrial, construction, engineering, maintenance, or other commercial purposes.

Geotechnical Investigations

(Land & Marine)

  • Determining the physical properties of soil and rock below the surface of the ground. Measuring the thermal resistivity of soils or backfill materials required for underground transmission lines, oil and gas pipelines, radioactive waste disposal, and solar thermal storage facilities. Surface exploration and subsurface exploration of a site. Obtaining data about sites involves soil sampling and laboratory tests of the soil samples.
  • The geotechnical services include both land and marine. The Marine geotechnical for deep water is mainly dependent on our international collaborations with companies such as PSS and Geo-equip. Whilst the nearshore Geotechnical services is provided by our team in-house. We have multiple mobile jack-up barges that are road transportable
